- Garry Wheeler (ACSWF President), Scott Brown (Naples COCO Gallery Director), JoAnne Crowson (third place - Marco Island Center for the Arts), Barbara Swift (first place - Arts of the Inland), Dr. Jane Ruprecht (honorable mention - Naples ArtCrafters) and John Melleky (Collier County Arts and Culture Manager and show judge).
- Not in attendance, Martin Sherman (second place - Center for the Arts Bonita Springs) and Kathryn Fiztgerald (honorable mention - SWFL Fine Craft Guild).
The gallery had a very large turnout for the July 7th reception. The exhibit will hang in the gallery until September 10th.

COCO Estero Gallery Renovations
The gallery reopened for business on 8/23/22 after a 3 week closure for renovations. The gallery team along with outside contractors painted all the walls, upgraded lighting, repaired/waxed the floors and upgraded cabinetry. A grand re-opening is being planned for November 9th! |

New Members of the Art Council
Two new art associations joined the ACSWF community this summer. Naples Art Crafters and Naples Art District are new members and their delegates will be joining the board meetings in the fall.
"Connections" Art in Flight Talented COCO Art Gallery artists Scott Brown, Barbara Sykes and Garry Scott Wheeler have been selected to display their paintings at the Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers. Artists from all over Florida submitted their work for consideration through the Alliance for the Arts. The airport will be hosting their “Connections” Art in Flight exhibit for the next year starting on June 9th. Thousands of visitors and residents will get to enjoy this compelling exhibit on a daily basis as they pass through the airport terminals. |
